On August 12, Maureen Dowd writes in the New York Times that Hillary Clinton is planning on staging a commotion at the Democratic convention at the end of August. During the day, I keep hearing rumors that the Clintons still believe they can win the nomination.
The next day the Chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party, Bill Gwatney, is gunned down in broad daylight. Gwatney was a superdelegate to the Democratic Convention.
