Given recent events, it’s timely that this Thursday is the Precious Metals Market Report with Franklin Sanders.
Gold and silver prices have come down sharply in the last week. We will revisit market fundamentals and Franklin will take a look at the current charts and what these drops mean for fourth quarter market performance.
I will be speaking to you from Holland, the location for the upcoming Breakthrough Energy Movement Conference. I will cover the election results, including the European response.
Last but not least, I will review Franklin’s new book, At Home in Dogwood Mudhole and invite Franklin to delight you with a few stories from it. We will also update you on the Transformation & Renewals conference in Tennessee last month.
I will start with Money and Markets and Ask Catherine. Please post your questions on the blog.
In Let’s Go to the Movies : a review of a 1995 documentary about New Zealand legislator Marilyn Waring, who pursued the institutional manipulation of accounting and statistics all the way to the United Nations – Who’s Counting? Marilyn Waring on Sex, Lies and Global Economics. This documentary is excellent background for the ongoing discussion on the fiscal cliff debates in the United States as we grapple with budgeting and accounting systems designed to ensure centralized control.
Talk to you Thursday!
