“Guard your heart, for out of it flows the wellspring of life.”
~ Proverbs 4:23
By Catherine Austin Fitts
According to the latest Gallup poll 76% of Americans are dissatisfied with how things are going. That is not a pretty dataset for Congressional incumbents headed into a midterm election.
However, voila! Magically, Americans are not thinking about the serious issues before us. No, we are suddenly concerned about ebola and ISIS. We want government to take on a more active role, thanks to a variety of rapidly growing terrors du jour (ebola, ISIS, etc.)
Indeed a new ABC News poll claims that two-thirds say government should do more about ebola!
More government, more government, more government!
Did you ever notice the equations?
More Terror = More Government
More Government = More Terror
Indeed, ebola has been good for the Administration. Obama’s Approval Index showed the President’s disapproval rating peaking at 54% on September 17th. However, since the ebola drumbeat took off, it is down to 49% today. The Democrats are breathing a sigh of ebola relief!
Last week in the United States, based on recent statistics, approximately 800 people died in car crashes, approximately 10,000 died of heart disease, and it is fair to say plenty died ahead of schedule as a result of government taxes, disappearing money, the pump and dump of the mortgage and housing markets, student loan policies, engineering of health and food policies, suppression of knowledge and technology, dare we mention government complicity in drug trafficking and criminal targeting of honest reporters and media…the list goes on.
While these thousands of deaths occurred last week, during the same period one person died of ebola in the United States.
In America, Ebola is a news media phenomenon. As the Fed ends Quantitative Easing, ebola is a way to provide fiscal and monetary infusions selectively in the governmental bureaucracy and targeted areas of the economy (including hospitals in trouble from Obamacare) and – if need be – to provide air cover for bank reengineerings and closings. Ebola is something that can keep the mid-term campaigns from focusing on the serious issues before us.
There is, however, no sign that Ebola is a health risk. Could it become one? Look overhead at the spraying programs. Biowarfare is here and has been for years – and it is a serious health risk and reality.
If you want to know who can do something about this, it is not government. Head to the nearest mirror to see the person you can trust to watch out for you and those you love. This is a “just do it” thing. The more of us who appreciate that, the more we can get to doing plenty.
If you look at the hard statistics, America is dying of a broken heart.
So laugh at the terror du jour, but guard your heart.
