Percolating in Tennessee

I am excited about all the good things percolating here in Tennessee. Saturday was a rainy day full of the promise of Spring – perfect for a trip with my dog over to Hohenwald, Tennessee.

I spent a few hours having coffee at the Buffalo River Café with wonderful allies Thomas Hupp of the Book Publishing Company at The Farm and Jennifer Dauksha-English of The Farm Eco-village Training Center and the Center for Holistic Ecology.

Thanks to Thomas and Jennifer, I will be speaking on June 7th at the green festival in Hohenwald about what our communities here in Tennessee can do to navigate the falling dollar. If you live nearby, I hope you put it on your calendar:

Jennifer, Thomas and I are in cahoots about a green business development course we will be teaching as part of GAIA University at the Farm.

The course will be given from Friday to Sunday, September 5-7, 2008. Participants interested in joining us for the weekend will participate along with the Associates studying in the GAIA university course. In addition, the talks on Friday and Saturday evening will be open to the community.

We will be posting links and more information on the Events Calendar at Solari.com, in blog updates and will send out e-mail updates as we finalize the curriculum and course registration becomes available.

Stay tuned!
