He who controls the gold, rules. She who controls the land is well, a landlord and it looks like billionaire, Penny Pritzker is looking to cash in on the real estate crisis by purchasing multi-family properties.

Pritzker will not be the only major investor to jump in the property investing game. I suspect we will see many similar ventures, funds and groups that will be formed over the next few years in order to gobble up properties at foreclosure fire sales. They will then rent the housing units to the millions of people who cannot qualify for a mortgage or have been recently foreclosed on.
