“Great moments in science: Einstein discovers that time is actually money.” ~Gary Larson

I was in Zurich for a week to visit with a series of Swiss money managers. These conversations are always fascinating. The Swiss have a deep understanding of finance, enterprise and a long-standing global perspective.
The current correction in global equities means that there are several stocks of good Swiss companies now offering dividends yielding 5% or more. A little due diligence was in order. I also got an education about the latest bruhaha at Volkswagen.
There was also time for sightseeing on Friday afternoon. At long last, I visited the Beyer Clock and Watch Museum – something I have wanted to do for years. Visits used to be by appointment only. However, now the Museum is open to the public during weekday afternoons.
Fantastic!
