I just received an e-mail message from a conference speaker –someone I have not yet met in person and would welcome knowing. We know each other by name. He thanked me for attending his speech earlier this month at an investment conference in Phoenix.
This struck me as rather odd . . . because I haven’t been to Phoenix since visiting with a client there last year. I e-mailed back, letting him know that I had not attended. Was he sure the woman had used my name? His reply was confident, yes, she had introduced herself as Catherine Austin Fitts.
This week, I’ll be speaking at the “GATA Goes to Washington” conference in Washington D.C. Afterwards, I’m heading back to Hickory Valley, Tennessee for a few months.
If you happen to see “me” at any events other than the GATA conference, kindly let me know. If you see me at the GATA conference, it’s really me.
