Dmitry Orlov’s book “Reinventing Collapse” is an excellent introduction to the de-industrialization that numerous areas of the world have experienced, written for Americans interested in preparing for such a scenario here. Orlov, a engineer who experienced such a collapse in his native Russia, appears to believe that the chances for American economic collapse are greater than I do. No matter, the book is well written, full of insightful suggestions and an invaluable planning tool no matter what the future holds.
