"Free and Inspired Life Workshop" Assessment

Dear Solari workshop participants,

I wanted to express my thanks to all of you for attending the Solari workshop last weekend. Even though I didn’t participate in the group exercises, I was inspired by the visions of each of the different groups. So I couldn’t resist the impulse to start creating logos and designs for the concepts brought forth, just to keep the momentum going.

These are my gifts to you to use as you wish in building your brand. If you have any suggestions for modifications and would like to see further development, I would be happy to take them to the next level. If I left out anyone’s ideas, please let me know — send me your concept and name, and I’ll design a logo for you. I think all of these ideas are great and deserve a chance to succeed.

Attached to this document are several items you may want for your files: one is the 100-year timeline, cut into two 50-year sections, for easier printing. You will need to enlarge it about 200% on your computer screen, in order to read the sticky notes. A few that were written too small or with a ballpoint are hard to read, but I will clean them up and send them to you later.

Also attached are photos of the big boxes, BOX 1, BOX 2, BOX 3, that everyone used at the beginning of the brainstorming sessions. These are interesting and a fairly good synthesis for what the groups are planning to do over the next few years. Included in the attachments are the descriptions of the exercises, #1-TOC workshop 11-14-14, #2-Hunting Gathering 11-13-14, #3-Wayfinding Future Mod 11-18-14, #4-Remembering Your Story 11-18-14, performed during the workshop. Last, but not least, is Gail’s note summing up the event.

I hope you enjoyed the chance to get together with like-minded people to start a conversation about what really matters in the uncertain times ahead. I really enjoyed meeting all of you and getting inspired by the challenge of creating a future that we would all like to experience.

Best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season,

Ben Lizardi
