Nestlé to renegotiate McCloud Deal

“Nestle Waters North America announced Tuesday it’s pulling out of its original contract with McCloud Community Services District and plans to renegotiate a new deal with this tiny mountain community.
Under the original agreement, Nestle had until Oct. 1 to terminate the contract with McCloud. Company officials said today they believe it’s appropriate to renegotiate the deal so that it reflects both the smaller size of Nestle’s proposed plant and takes into account community input on the revised proposal.”
