New Zealand ally Claude Lewenz reminds me that ‘doing good’ first got split from ‘doing well’ with granting of a royal charter to the Honourable East India Company 407 years ago in December 1600 and the passage of the Charities Act of 1601 406 years ago in December 1601.
Claude advises that we would do well to integrate the model.
I would add that the Bank of England started almost a century later, added an important leg to the stool of the current model that has governed resources for so long on Earth. The coup de grace was making sure the average citizen did not understand financial matters and did not have access to place based financial information.
