Update from Kiva on my current loan . . .
Francisco is doing well. He is working hard at both of his businesses everyday. He has finished all payments on his first loan despite a huge setback; he became ill awhile back and was both unable to work normally and inundated with medical bills. The savings and profits he had were used to pay for his health care. It was a difficult time for him financially and emotionally since he lives on his own. He has recuperated now and is back to work full time. He considers what happened bad timing and bad luck. Francisco hopes to take out a second loan and to use the capital to now really improve both businesses.
