A recent NBC/WSJ poll indicates that 25% of the American public is in favor of banning travel to the United States by Muslims. This is the equivalent of telling 23% of the world’s population that you want them to stop:
- Investing with American financial institutions
- Purchasing American goods and services
- Investing in American stocks and bonds (including Treasury securities)
- Using the US dollar as a reserve currency
I would ask that 25% of the American public what their plan is to reengineer the US federal budget and economy in light of that position.
