Nighttime falls, I study on.
I find another hero. It’s time to sleep.
Sleep lasts but half the night.
Burdens pile up,
The tax man calls in 5 days,
Men of all kinds fight for control.
The world spins round; we spend half our life upside down and don’t fall off this sphere, not knowing why or how
Someone other than man must be in charge.
Day breaks light comes into the room,
Our feet briefly touch,
I feel tenderness, kindness, forgiveness, mercy, gentleness, unfeigned love, charity,
I have felt that same touch thousands of times and the same feelings abound.
Those feelings must come from the one in charge.
I believe so. I am so thankful for them.
They make the burdens go away for a moment and clarity is felt for eternity
Now I must always be thankful and remember
