In 1987, I rented a magical apartment in a brownstone on Manhattan’s West Side next to Central Park. Full of fireplaces, wood paneling and tall ceilings, my picture window looked out on a beautiful Italian garden created by the couple from whom I rented the apartment. Fast forward, today my beautiful young landlord Suejin Jo has blossomed into an accomplished, successful artist. Her mailer to her network today is a reminder that life is blossoming everywhere you turn and in times when we are called to reinvent our world, it is the artists who inspire our imagination as they lead the way.
