A marvelous group of Solari Report subscribers shared lunch yesterday under the tents in a large field in Marin County. Many had joined us for lunch last year and have been meeting once a month in the Bay Area for a pot luck dinner on the third Sunday of each month. If you are a subscriber in the Bay Area and interested in getting in touch let us know at our Customer Service and we will forward your e-mail to organizers.
Many of those attending will also be joining us for lunch at the Secret Space Program & Breakaway Civilization conference in San Mateo next weekend. That includes KPFA “Guns & Butter” Host Bonnie Faulkner and blogger “Nines” who will be blogging the conference for the Solari Report. After lunch Bonnie and I recorded a discussion about the conference which will run this week on her show this week. After the conference, Bonnie will join me on the Solari Report next week for a recap.
Our subscribers are unique in their willingness and ability to look at the dark side while staying in a place that is both enlightened and positive. We will look at the risks on our way to finding the opportunities. We are a network of people who appreciate fresh, healthy food and charming environments. We believe that uncensored conversations, fine wines and beautiful flowers arrangements dovetail nicely!
New family ventures were present as well – we got great updates on the successful launch of Petaluma Thistle Meats, of the US distributorship of Barbara Olive Oil, and on our favorite Leonardi Ferri Photography as well as sampling of the harvest of numerous family gardens.
The best luncheons are those put on by subscribers. This one was no exception. For those of you who want to weekend in a very special place, check out the guest house where I stay when I am there at Cedar & Sage.
