Tweeting the Campaign Away

I have long been a skeptic of social media given its relationship to “surveillance capitalism.” However, there is something about the conversations happening on Twitter I have come to enjoy.

I first became interested in Twitter when JP Morgan’s head of social media scheduled a hangout for management and got blasted by thousands of tweets holding JP Morgan accountable. It was funny beyond imagination.

But, the current US presidential campaign offers an opportunity to tweet comments and questions bringing accountability that is new indeed. Imagine what will happen between now and November?

Houston, can we make contact?
