“Great interview.. I have an analogy, we see the tip of the iceberg, the next level down knows there is an ocean and the rest doesn’t know the ocean exists..

In following that analogy, I’d be willing to bet that FedGov.Inc has allied itself with an off-world civ. Which I would also be willing to bet would be classified in a taxonomy under “Thern”.. So, we can guess that the other players in the galactic game are all over the board; from Klaatu to the Thern and or worse.. The galactic-political outlook is of great import.. But, how are we going to glean what that might be with any accuracy?

It is also my best guess, that off world types have shut down NORAD assets to make a point. Also, that when we started popping nukes back in the late 40’s, it could have indeed torn wholes in the space/time lattice that affected other worlds.. Which precipitated our large scale UFO sightings.. “The Day the Earth Stood Still” was in my opinion a docudrama..

Our massive fundamental ignorance about galactic: politics, physics, finance, etc.. Hands us the short end of the stick when we attempt to make salient decisions. Thanks for showing us the tip of the iceberg. I can only guess where I’d be w/o this info.”

“Dear Catherine,

In the early days of my spiritual formation I learned about a prayer practice called ‘aspirations’— breath prayers. It has been something I have done ever since. One ‘old-timer’ surfaces into my consciousness very often: “Fill me with your love and your grace. More than this I do not ask.” Given that the fullness of God’s love and grace is already totally here and surrounding me, I’ve come to realize over the years that it’s the blockages I put in the way that prevent my receiving the fullness I pray for. So this ‘old timer’ has now morphed into something like, “Help me to be completely open to receive the fullness of your love and your grace. More than this I do not ask”.

I have told you before that for some unknown reason there are periods of time when you are more than usually present to me in prayer. I can’t figure it out but using my pet metaphor from acoustics, it is as if some fundamental tone is struck out there in the universe that sets our two overtones vibrating in resonance. This past week or so has been one of these times. I found myself companioning you in whatever you were about. Just yesterday I prayed, “May Catherine — every cell of her body, every thought in her mind, every fiber of her being — be completely open to receive the fullness of your love and your grace. More than this I do not ask for her and for all those she influences.”

And then I listened to your last night’s conversation with Joseph Farrell. (I say ‘conversation’ advisedly as different from other Solari Report interviews) That prayer focus of the past several days made total sense!

There is no way that I can explain how you both helped me make sense of not knowing what is really going on! It helped me particularly to see the significance within world history of decades spanning my own life history starting with the fact that I was born in 1929. I know that even as a young child I have always been a reasonably aware and reflective person. Each decade seemed to pour more and more wonderings into the mix of my reflection — the destitution of the ‘tramps’ that my mother fed during the 1930’s; the total engagement of us youth during WWII; weeping over the plight of the displaced persons in Europe in1947; as an educator observing the cultural effects of our growing affluence during the 1950’s and early ‘60’s; Vatican II; experiencing first hand the underground church in Hungary in 1967; experiencing first hand our own cultural revolution of the 1960’s from NYU Greenwich Village campus to the deserts in southern California; noticing the deadening effect of the corporatization of education when as a travelling teacher of teachers I taught in state after state, province after province from 1967 to 1995, and on and on… and then I met you in 2007. But last night’s conversation was the pièce de resistance. You connected so many of the dots I have puzzled over. It means so much to someone like me just to hear that despite all your years of study and research even you and Joseph Farrell don’t really know what’s going on!”

“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity…. Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do.” ~ Ben Rich, former head of the Lockheed Skunk Works

This week on the Solari Report, Dr. Joseph Farrell joins me for a discussion of his new book Covert Wars and the Clash of Civilizations.

The current debate around the future of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency is intense. The US government is managing a series of political defeats – from global NSA scandals, to domestic unemployment and health care woes. And yet, the value of the US dollar has remained relatively strong.

Joseph and I pick up on our prior discussions on the the breakaway civilization (Click here for Part I and Part II), to discuss the investment, military and intelligence interests that support and depend on the dollar to remain the global reserve currency. We start with a discussion of the phenomenon and risks that the national security infrastructure has faced historically,  how that may relate to financial scandals of the last two decades and to investment in North America today as well as the growing tensions between the US and its traditional allies in the G-7.

This is a wide ranging conversation – two hours in length – that explores numerous unanswered questions at the heart of the challenges and opportunities before us.

In Money & Markets this week I will discuss the latest events in the domestic and global financial markets. In Let’s Go to the Movies, I will review the newly released Ender’s Game, based on Orson Scott Card’s award winning science fiction novel by the same name.

Talk to you Thursday!
